Afida, a young from Indonesia that focused on gender and children's issues. Her understanding of social issues has deepened through her studies in Criminology and reflection upon through her experiences. She is part of the 2030 Youth Force Indonesia, where the team address issues such as child marriage and other gender-based harms practices under the Power to You(th) Program. Using a feminist lens in our work allows us to gain a broader and deeper understanding of these issues. Specifically, by applying an intersectional feminist approach, her team can navigate best and accurate practices within the program with considering factors such as socio-economic status, gender and sexuality, education level, and geographic location.
